1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using NearFind (nearfind.app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of service

NearFind is a free, map-based local business directory for India. It allows users to discover nearby businesses, and allows businesses to list themselves and advertise to local users.

3. Listing submissions

• Business listings must be accurate and represent real, operating businesses in India.
• Duplicate, fake, or misleading listings will be removed without notice.
• Submitted listings are reviewed by our admin team before publication.
• By submitting a listing, you grant NearFind a non-exclusive licence to display the information publicly.
• NearFind reserves the right to edit, categorise, or remove any listing at any time.

4. Advertising

• Advertising is subject to admin approval before going live.
• Ads must not contain false, misleading, or offensive content.
• Payment is due before or upon activation of the ad.
• Refunds are not available once an ad has been activated and served impressions.
• NearFind reserves the right to reject or remove any advertisement without refund if it violates these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
• Ad pricing is subject to change with 30 days notice to active advertisers.

5. User conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit false, defamatory, or harmful content
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from NearFind without permission
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt NearFind's systems
• Use NearFind to spam, phish, or conduct fraudulent activity
• Impersonate another business or person

6. Reviews

User reviews must be honest and based on genuine experience. Fake reviews — positive or negative — are prohibited. NearFind moderates all reviews before publication and may remove reviews that violate these terms.

7. Intellectual property

NearFind's branding, code, and design are owned by NearFind. Business listing data is sourced from OpenStreetMap (licensed under ODbL) and user submissions. You may not reproduce NearFind's interface or content without written permission.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

NearFind is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any listing information. Business details such as opening hours, phone numbers, and addresses may be outdated.

9. Limitation of liability

NearFind shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for advertising in the preceding 30 days.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Mangaluru, Karnataka.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of NearFind after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
